Tour Program

Day 1: Salzburg
You will arrive in Salzburg at your own pace and check in to your hotel, where your travel documents await. The rest of the day is yours to explore the city of Mozart.

Day 2: Salzburg – Bad Goisern (approx. 75 km)
You will leave Salzburg and ride towards the Salzkammergut. The dramatic Drachenwand points the way to Lake Mondsee, and once you have crossed the Scharfling and passed the tranquil Krottensee, a breathtaking view over Lake Wolfgang opens before you. From the Mozart village of St. Gilgen you will board the boat to St. Wolfgang, with your bike aboard. A short final stretch brings you to the historic imperial town of Bad Ischl, and you will then follow the graceful course of the Traun River to Bad Goisern.

Day 3: Bad Goisern – Lake Traunsee (approx. 70 km)
The day begins in the Dachstein-Salzkammergut UNESCO World Heritage region, where the landscape reveals its wild beauty. Beyond Bad Goisern you will reach Lake Hallstatt, ringed by mighty rock faces and steeped in more than 7,000 years of history. From the eastern shore a magnificent view of Hallstatt unfolds, often called the most beautiful lakeside town in the world. You will then trace the Traun River to Lake Traunsee, your destination for the day.

Day 4: Lake Traunsee – Lake Mondsee (approx. 70 km)
Framed by the Traunstein and the Höllengebirge, Lake Traunsee stretches out like a fjord. You will cycle along its shores towards the ceramics town of Gmunden, then ride through the green Aurach Valley to the turquoise Attersee before continuing to Lake Mondsee, where the day comes to a close.

Day 5: Lake Mondsee – Salzburg (approx. 70 km)
Setting off from Mondsee, you will cross the Irrsee into the Salzburger Land. Past the Mattsee, Grabensee and Obertrumer See, the route leads you on a leisurely ride back to Salzburg, with one last view of the Salzkammergut mountains. Your luggage will be delivered to the partner hotel in Salzburg, and you will then depart at your own pace, or extend your stay in the city.

The Customer may withdraw from the contract (cancel) at any time prior to commencement of the tour. Cancellation must be effected in writing. In the event of cancellation or no-show the following cancellation fees shall become due in relation to the tour price:

Up to the 28th day prior to departure 20%, however at least 50.- euros per person.

From the 27th day until the 14th day prior to departure 30%.

From the 13th day until the 8th day prior to departure 50%.

From the 7th until the 4th day prior to departure 70%.

From the 3rd day or with no-show for the tour 90%.
