Who is Life on a Bike

Life on a Bike (lifeonabike.com) is a marketplace platform operated by Redpilled OÜ, a company registered in Estonia. We connect travellers with independent cycling tour operators across Europe.

We are not a tour operator, travel agency, or organiser. We do not own, operate, or deliver any of the cycling tours listed on our platform. Our role is to facilitate the connection between you and the tour operator who provides the service.

Who are the Tour Operators

The cycling tours listed on Life on a Bike are provided by independent tour operators — small and medium-sized businesses specialising in cycling holidays in their respective regions.

Each operator manages their own routes, pricing, hotel partnerships, bike fleet, and logistics. They are licensed professionals with local expertise and direct relationships with accommodation and service providers along their routes.

How the booking works

When you request a quote through Life on a Bike, we prepare a personalised quote for you based on the tour details, your travel dates, and group size. Once you accept and pay the deposit, we forward your booking to the relevant tour operator, who checks hotel availability and confirms.

If you accept the quote, your contract is with the tour operator directly. The tour operator is the merchant of record and the service provider for your trip. Payment is processed securely and goes to the tour operator.

Life on a Bike facilitates the connection and provides ongoing support, but the tour operator is responsible for delivering the experience on the ground — including hotels, transfers, route materials, and on-trip assistance.

Responsibilities

Travel Protection

On most tours you can choose between a standard rate and the BeSafe Rate Plus. The BeSafe option adds comprehensive travel protection covering trip cancellation for any documented reason, trip interruption, medical expenses and emergency repatriation, baggage protection, and travel assistance. You can select your preferred option when you receive your quote.

Complaints and support

If you experience any issue during your trip, contact the tour operator directly — they are best positioned to resolve on-ground problems quickly.

For formal complaints regarding the platform service, please write to info@lifeonabike.com with subject line "Formal Complaint". We aim to acknowledge all complaints within 48 hours and provide a resolution within 14 business days.
