Tour Program

Day 1: Salzburg
You will arrive in Salzburg at your own pace and check in to your hotel, where your travel documents await. The rest of the day is yours to wander the city of Mozart.

Day 2: Salzburg – Lake Wolfgangsee (approx. 50 km)
After collecting your bike, you will set off toward Eugendorf and Thalgau. Quiet, relaxed paths carry you to Lake Mondsee, where you will ride beneath the towering Drachenwand, a dramatic wall of rock rising above the water. From the Scharflinghöhe a magnificent view of Lake Wolfgang opens before you, and a scenic descent brings you down to St. Gilgen on the shore of the crystal-clear lake.

Day 3: Lake Wolfgangsee – Lake Traunsee (approx. 50 km)
A short morning detour to St. Wolfgang rewards you with a picturesque village and its lakeside promenade. You will then cycle on to Bad Ischl, the former summer residence of Emperor Franz Joseph, where grand villas and traditional coffeehouses lend the spa town its character. A leisurely path along the Traun River leads you to the shores of Lake Traunsee.

Day 4: Lake Traunsee – Lake Attersee (approx. 35 km)
Framed by steep mountain slopes and shimmering water, Lake Traunsee unfolds like a fjord. You will ride first to Gmunden, known for its traditional ceramics and the lakeside castle of Ort, then continue through the green Aurach Valley toward Lake Attersee.

Day 5: Lake Attersee – Salzburger Seenland (approx. 70 km)
Following the Seeache River, you will return to Lake Mondsee and trace the bike path along its northern shore to the town of the same name, where the historic old town and prehistoric pile dwellings invite a short stop. The route continues past the pristine Lake Irrsee into the Trumer Lake District, where Mattsee, Grabensee and Obertrum lie nestled in a gently rolling landscape.

Day 6: Salzburger Seenland – Salzburg (approx. 30 km)
Your final stage carries you back to Salzburg through a varied landscape of meadows, fields and small villages. Savour the relaxed atmosphere one last time before you reach the city of Mozart in the afternoon.

Day 7: Salzburg
Your tour ends after breakfast, or you may choose to extend your stay in Salzburg.

The Customer may withdraw from the contract (cancel) at any time prior to commencement of the tour. Cancellation must be effected in writing. In the event of cancellation or no-show the following cancellation fees shall become due in relation to the tour price:

Up to the 28th day prior to departure 20%, however at least 50.- euros per person.

From the 27th day until the 14th day prior to departure 30%.

From the 13th day until the 8th day prior to departure 50%.

From the 7th until the 4th day prior to departure 70%.

From the 3rd day or with no-show for the tour 90%.
