RODA: Ride on the Dolomites Alps

Day 1: Arrival in Dobbiaco/Villabassa
You will arrive individually at your hotel in Villabassa or Dobbiaco, in the upper Val Pusteria.

Day 2: Dobbiaco/Villabassa – San Cassiano (63 km, +870 m)
The stage leaves Dobbiaco and drops gently towards Valdaora. The cable car takes you up to Plan de Corones, from where you descend to the Passo Furcia and on to San Vigilio. Through the Col d'Ancona the route winds between high mountain landscapes to La Val, before the last lift at La Crusc brings you to San Cassiano. Fast descents, wide views and comfortable lift-assisted climbs.

Day 3: San Cassiano – Canazei (53 km, +844 m; long variant 73 km, +1,177 m)
From San Cassiano the cable car climbs to Piz Sorega. Flowing descents take you into the heart of the Dolomites at Corvara, from where a gondola lifts you to the Passo Gardena. Varied trails and wide panoramas bring you to Selva, where another lift carries you to the Seceda. From there you descend through spectacular scenery to Ortisei, ride the cable car up to the Alpe di Siusi and cross the plateau to Campitello di Fassa and Canazei.

Day 4: Canazei – San Martino di Castrozza (48 km, +960 m; long variant 85 km, +1,435 m)
The stage begins in Canazei and follows the cycle route through the Val di Fassa to the Olympic ski jumps at Predazzo. A cable car then climbs past Obereggen to the Lago di Carezza and the Passo di Carezza. The descent continues towards Soraga, from where the route crosses to the other side of the valley and takes the Ronchi-Valbona lift back up. From the Passo Lusia you descend past the Lago di Paneveggio to San Martino di Castrozza.

Day 5: San Martino di Castrozza – Alleghe (62 km, +1,350 m; long variant 99 km, +1,600 m)
From San Martino di Castrozza the route crosses some of the most striking landscape in the Dolomites, passing Moena, Campitello, Canazei and Arabba before reaching Alleghe. On fine cycle routes between idyllic valleys and high peaks, the sporting sections alternate with easier stretches, and cable cars along the way let you enjoy the view and recover for the next climb.

Day 6: Alleghe – Cortina d'Ampezzo (60 km, +320 m)
The day opens with a cable car from Alleghe to the Forcella Pecol, then continues by bike through Santa Fosca to Selva di Cadore, where a transfer takes you to Fedare. From there another lift carries you to the Rifugio Averau before the descent past the Cinque Torri. Cortina appears below, and the route continues to the Fanes waterfalls and finally along the cycle path into the centre of town.

Day 7: Cortina d'Ampezzo – Dobbiaco/Villabassa (41 km, +740 m; variant without bus 45.5 km, +1,260 m)
The last stage leaves Cortina with a cable car to the Rifugio Faloria, then descends by bike to Rio Gere. Another lift takes you to the Rifugio Son Forca, from where the road continues through the valley to Ospitale. The cycle path to Dobbiaco runs past gentle hills and clear mountain lakes as the landscape opens out into the Val Pusteria.

Day 8: Departure
Your tour ends after breakfast. You may choose to extend your stay in the Dolomites.
