Short Description

A 6-day self-guided gravel bike tour from Dobbiaco to Jesolo covering 270 km through the Italian Dolomites to the Adriatic coast. Ride past Tre Cime di Lavaredo, through Cortina d'Ampezzo, across Prosecco country to the Venetian lagoon beaches. From €559 per person with luggage transfer and GPS.

Tour Program

Day 1: Arrival in Alta Pusteria (Villabassa or Dobbiaco)
You will arrive at your hotel in Alta Pusteria, with free parking available nearby. The dramatic Dolomite panorama is already visible, setting the tone for the adventure ahead.

Day 2: Alta Pusteria – Prato Piazza – Cortina d'Ampezzo (approx. 30–55 km)
The more challenging variant will take you first into the Braies valley, with a possible detour to the idyllic Lake Braies. You will then climb to the Prato Piazza plateau, where the Dürrenstein and Hohe Gaisl peaks tower majestically. An old military road descends into the Höhlenstein valley, and the route follows the former Dolomite railway through the Cimabanche pass to Cortina d'Ampezzo, the legendary Olympic city. The easier variant leads directly along the railway route to Cortina.

Day 3: Cortina d'Ampezzo – Belluno (approx. 75–80 km)
The challenging route follows the Lunga Via delle Dolomiti cycle path along the old railway. The Sorapis massif rises on your left, the Cinque Torri on your right. A steep climb brings you to Zoppè di Cadore, the highest municipality in Belluno province. You will continue through Longarone, rebuilt after the 1963 Vajont tragedy, and past Ponte nelle Alpi to reach Belluno. The easier variant follows the cycle path through Pieve di Cadore.

Day 4: Belluno – Pieve di Soligo/Susegana (approx. 60–85 km)
The challenging variant begins with a long climb to the Nevegal plateau, a stage of the 2011 Giro d'Italia. From the summit, the Dolomites stretch to the north and, on clear days, the Adriatic shimmers to the south. The route follows the ridge with views of Lake Santa Croce and descends through Prosecco vineyards. The Molinetto della Croda, a 17th-century watermill, is a highlight along the way. The day ends in Pieve di Soligo or Susegana.

Day 5: Pieve di Soligo – Jesolo (approx. 75 km)
You will ride along the Piave river, leaving the mountains behind. Through Nervesa della Battaglia and the Montello nature reserve, you will continue to Noventa di Piave. The route then reaches the Venetian lagoon, passing through Eraclea and its extensive pine forest before arriving at Jesolo, one of the Veneto's most charming seaside towns, with its flat sandy beaches and atmospheric dunes.

Day 6: Jesolo – End of tour
Individual departure or possibility to extend your stay.
