What is the difficulty level of this tour?
This is a challenging mountain bike tour covering 177-235 km over 5 riding days with significant elevation gains of up to 1,800 m per day. It follows old military roads, forest tracks, and mountain trails. A good fitness level is required. Each stage offers a sportive variant and an easier variant designed for e-MTB riders.
What type of accommodation is provided?
You will stay in 3-star and 4-star hotels with private bathrooms. Breakfast is included every morning. An optional half-board supplement adds 4 dinners (not available in Cortina d'Ampezzo).
Are cable car tickets included?
No, cable car and chairlift tickets are not included in the package price. They can be purchased locally if you choose the easier variants.
Can I rent a mountain bike for this tour?
Yes, Bianchi mountain bikes and Haibike e-MTBs are available for rent without pannier bags, as luggage is transported separately from hotel to hotel.
Is free parking available?
Yes, free uncustodied parking is available near the hotel in Villabassa/Dobbiaco for the duration of the tour.
What is the best time for this tour?
The tour runs from June to September. Early and late season offer cooler temperatures ideal for intense riding, while midsummer provides the longest daylight hours.
