Innsbruck to Venice: 9-Day Leisurely Alpine Crossing

Day 1: Arrival in Innsbruck
Arrive in the Tyrolean capital and settle into your hotel.

Day 2: Innsbruck – Rio Pusteria (55 km + train)
The Brenner Pass is handled by train or bus. From the summit you will freewheel south through Vipiteno and Fortezza to Rio Pusteria.

Day 3: Rio Pusteria – Villabassa or Dobbiaco (50–55 km)
You will follow the River Rienza through the Puster Valley to Brunico and on to Villabassa or Dobbiaco.

Day 4: Villabassa or Dobbiaco – Cortina d'Ampezzo (30–35 km)
A short spectacular stage along the old railway cycle path through the Dolomites, passing Lakes Dobbiaco and Landro with Tre Cime views.

Day 5: Cortina d'Ampezzo – Ponte nelle Alpi/Belluno (55–75 km)
From the Pearl of the Dolomites you will descend through the Boite Valley with Monte Pelmo and Antelao towering on either side.

Day 6: Ponte nelle Alpi/Belluno – Conegliano (55–75 km)
You will ride past Longarone and through the pre-Alpine foothills to Conegliano in the Prosecco wine country.

Day 7: Conegliano – Treviso (50 km)
A gentle stage through the plains to Treviso, a graceful city of canals and frescoed facades.

Day 8: Treviso – Venice/Mestre (47 km)
Your final ride follows the Sile cycle path past Palladian villas to Mestre, gateway to Venice.

Day 9: Venice/Mestre – Departure
Individual departure or extend your stay.
