Can I have my own bike transported back?

Yes. If you bring your own bike, the operator can transport it back for €38 per bike (no commission). This must be booked in advance — it cannot be purchased on site — and is available only together with the return passenger transfer. The operator accepts no liability for any damage in transit. Handover is by overnight transfer on Thursday, Friday or Saturday only: drop your bike at your last hotel by 17:00 the day before departure, and it will be ready for collection in Trier at approximately 11:00 the next day. Rims wider than 5 cm are accepted on request only, insurance cover is up to €1,500, and all bikes must be pre-registered.

The complete Moselle experience in 5 nights — from Roman Trier to the Deutsches Eck in Koblenz. Includes a boat tour, wine tasting, Castle Cochem admission and 241 km of flat riverside cycling through Germany's premier wine region.

Tour Program

Day 1 — Arrival in Trier
Check into your 4-star hotel in Germany's oldest city and enjoy an included boat tour on the Moselle (approx. 1 hour). Collect your rental bike and stroll past the Porta Nigra and Imperial Baths.

Day 2 — Trittenheim / Neumagen-Dhron (40–45 km)
Cycle along the Moselle past Schweich and its old Ferry Tower. Trace Roman history at every bend — Villa Rustika, Roman water conduits and an ancient winepress. Reach Trittenheim or Neumagen-Dhron, Germany's oldest wine village.

Day 3 — Traben-Trarbach (45–50 km)
The famous Moselle loops take centre stage. Ride through Bernkastel-Kues with its fairytale marketplace and half-timbered houses, then continue to Traben-Trarbach beneath the Grevenburg ruins.

Day 4 — Cochem (56 km)
Pass Beilstein — the "Rothenburg on the Moselle" — and the Stuben monastery ruins near Bremm. Arrive in Cochem and visit the iconic Reichsburg Castle (admission included), whose foundations date back to the year 1000.

Day 5 — Koblenz (50 km)
Ride past Treis-Karden, the storybook Eltz Castle side-trip, Hatzenport and Thurant Castle. Finish at the Deutsches Eck, where the Moselle meets the Rhine in the heart of Koblenz.

Day 6 — Departure
End of the tour. Return to Trier by regional train or extend your stay.
