🙋 Common questions
Who is this tour for?
Leisure cyclists who want to enjoy the whole German Moselle without rushing. After two moderate days, the stages from Trittenheim onwards are only 35 to 37 km, leaving plenty of time for wine villages, castles and long lunches.
What is included besides hotels and luggage transfer?
A boat cruise in Trier, a tasting of three wines at a partner winery along the route, admission to the Reichsburg in Cochem, and the panoramic cable car in Koblenz with entry to Ehrenbreitstein Fortress.
What type of accommodation is provided?
Good 3-star and 4-star hotels and inns, all with breakfast. Half board with 5 dinners can be added for €165.
Can I get back to Perl from Koblenz?
Yes. A return by regional train (approx. 147 minutes, one change) can be booked for €25 per person. Bikes travel free on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and all day on weekends and public holidays.
When can I start?
Arrivals from Thursday to Saturday, between 22 April and 25 September 2027.
Can I have my own bike transported back?
Yes. If you bring your own bike, the operator can transport it back to Perl for €40 per bike. This must be booked in advance — it cannot be purchased on site — and works together with the return by train on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays: drop your bike at your last hotel by 17:00 the day before, it travels overnight and is ready for collection in Perl from approximately 11:00 the next day. The operator accepts no liability for damage in transit. Rims wider than 5 cm are accepted on request only, insurance cover is up to €1,500, and all bikes must be pre-registered.
