How difficult is this tour?
The route follows flat, well-maintained cycle paths along the Moselle for approximately 237–247 km over five cycling days. It is suitable for riders of average fitness with no significant climbs.
What bikes are available?
Trekking bikes (€90) and e-bikes (€200, on request) can be rented for the full duration. Bikes are ready at your first hotel and returned at the last.
Can I get back to Perl from Koblenz?
Yes. A return by regional train (approx. 147 minutes, one change) is available daily for €25 per person. Bike transport on trains is free on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and all day on weekends and public holidays.
What type of accommodation is included?
You will stay in good 3-star and 4-star hotels and inns with daily breakfast. Demi-board (4 dinners) is available as a supplement for €140.
What are the departure days?
Arrivals are possible from Thursday to Sunday, between 22 April and 26 September 2027.
Is luggage transferred?
Yes. Luggage is collected at 9 a.m. and delivered to your next hotel by approximately 6:30 p.m., with liability coverage up to €1,000 per person.
Are there children's discounts?
Yes: children 0–6 stay free, ages 7–11 receive 50% off, and ages 12–15 receive 25% off (max 1 child per double room with 2 full-paying adults).
Can I have my own bike transported back?
Yes. If you bring your own bike, the operator can transport it back to Perl for €40 per bike. This must be booked in advance — it cannot be purchased on site — and works together with the return by train on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays: drop your bike at your last hotel by 17:00 the day before, it travels overnight and is ready for collection in Perl from approximately 11:00 the next day. The operator accepts no liability for damage in transit. Rims wider than 5 cm are accepted on request only, insurance cover is up to €1,500, and all bikes must be pre-registered.
