Short Description

Ride the Dalmatian islands on an 8-day guided mountain bike and boat tour from Trogir. Your motor yacht follows you between Vis, Korčula, Hvar and Brač while you ride singletrack above the Adriatic, climb Vidova Gora and swim off the deck at the end of the day.

Tour Program

Day 1: Trogir (embarkation) – Brač
You will make your own way to Trogir, by car or by air to Split airport, about 6 km from the harbour. Check-in on the motor yacht is between 1 and 1.30 p.m. and the first crossing to the island of Brač starts at 2 p.m., with a swim stop on the way if the weather allows. The night is spent in the charming harbour village of Milna.

Day 2: Island of Vis (A: approx. 30 km / 900 m · B: approx. 25 km / 670 m)
Over breakfast the boat cruises to Vis, the furthest inhabited island from the Croatian mainland. A Greek colony called Issa settled here 2,300 years ago, and because of its position the island stayed a military zone closed to foreign visitors until 1995. Today is one of the highlight rides of the week: a combination of off-road trails, historical sights and long views over the sea. There is plenty of time to enjoy the island, and the night is spent here.

Day 3: Island of Korčula: Vela Luka (A: approx. 29 km / 630 m · B: approx. 28 km / 450 m)
In the morning the boat crosses to the harbour of Vela Luka on Korčula, with a swim from the deck on the way if the weather allows. Both groups start together on the northern tip of the island, riding coastal trails out of the harbour and then a mix of asphalt and gravel up to the archaeological site of Vela Spila, a remarkable cave. From there the groups split: one takes an urban trail back to the harbour, the other descends on gravel. After a coffee break both groups head out again for a last trail session on the southern tip of the island, and the day ends with a celebratory dinner on board in Vela Luka.

Day 4: Island of Hvar: Hvar town – Stari Grad (A: approx. 30 km / 800 m · B: approx. 21 km / 460 m)
The boat arrives in Hvar town in the morning and the bikes come off for a full day of riding: the aim is to cross the island, on a mix of asphalt roads, rolling natural paths and gravel tracks, with good trail sections to distract you from the climbing. Lunch is in a local restaurant halfway across, and after it comes the highest point of the tour and a choice of descents down to the fertile plain of Stari Grad, where the boat is waiting. In the afternoon a professional guided city tour introduces the town, and the night is spent in its picturesque harbour.

Day 5: Island of Brač (A: approx. 38 km / 1,000 m · B: approx. 40 km / 910 m)
The longest trail of the week. Over breakfast the boat cruises to Milna on Brač, and from there the route climbs towards the highest peak of the Adriatic islands, past olive groves, herb meadows and the sinkholes of a typical karst landscape. From the 780-metre summit of Vidova Gora the view reaches down to Bol and the Golden Horn, the Zlatni Rat spit. The descent starts technical and turns flowing near the end, on the Broken Glass trail; a less demanding alternative with equally good views is available. The destination is the seaside town of Postira.

Day 6: Omiš round tour (A & B: approx. 44 km / 800 m) or rafting
Over breakfast the boat brings you to Omiš, and today you choose: the trails around the town, or a bus transfer to go rafting through the Cetina canyon (not included in the tour price). The rafting group is collected from the boat by bus, follows the river downstream through the canyon and is driven back afterwards. In the afternoon the boat crosses to the island of Šolta for the night.

Day 7: Island of Šolta – Trogir (A & B: approx. 16 km / 300 m)
The last crossing brings you back to Trogir in the morning. From there the bikes cross the local bridge to the island of Čiovo for the final ride: a sea of flowers and the scent of wild herbs, with local cross-country trails. The group then splits, one half for a swim in the sea, the other for a few enduro lines. The afternoon is free in Trogir, a UNESCO World Heritage town, before a festive last meal on board with the guides and the rest of the group.

Day 8: Trogir (disembarkation)
Disembarkation after breakfast, until 9 a.m., then your individual journey home or an extended stay in Dalmatia.
