• Is this tour suitable for beginners?

  

  Yes. The route follows well-maintained cycle paths with a predominantly downhill gradient from the Alps to the lake. There are no steep climbs, making it accessible for riders of all fitness levels. The longest stage is 65 km, but the terrain is forgiving.

• What type of accommodation is included?

  

  You will stay in comfortable 3-star hotels, with some nights in 3- or 4-star properties depending on the town. All nights include a generous breakfast buffet. Half-board with a 3-course dinner is available on three evenings as an optional supplement.

• How does luggage transfer work?

  

  Your luggage is collected from each hotel by 9:00 AM and delivered to your next accommodation by approximately 6:30 PM. Each bag is insured up to EUR 1,000 per person. You ride with just a daypack.

• Can I return to the starting point?

  

  A bus transfer from Riva/Arco back to Nauders runs on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays during the full season, with Thursdays added during selected periods. The journey takes approximately two hours. It must be pre-booked. If you bring your own bike, optional return transport for the bike costs EUR 38 (to be booked in advance).

• Are rental bikes available?

  

  Yes. Touring bikes and e-bikes can be reserved in advance and are handed out at the Donau Touristik info point in Nauders. Saddle bags are included. Replacement stations are available along the route.

• Is this tour suitable for families with children?

  

  Children are welcome. Kids aged 0 to 6 travel free, ages 7 to 11 receive a 50 percent discount, and ages 12 to 15 receive a 25 percent discount, with a maximum of one child sharing a double room with two full-paying adults.

• When can I depart?

  

  Departures daily (in July and August no arrivals on Tuesdays or Wednesdays).

• What about city taxes?

  

  City taxes of approximately EUR 2 to 5 per person per night are not included in the tour price and are paid directly at each hotel during check-in or check-out.
