Short Description

A leisurely 12-day version of the classic Munich to Venice route, this extended itinerary gives you more time to savour every landscape change — from the Bavarian lakeland to the high Dolomites and down to the Adriatic. Shorter daily stages make it ideal for those who prefer a relaxed pace with time for sightseeing.

Tour Program

Day 1: Arrival in Munich
Settle into your hotel in Bavaria's vibrant capital. Stroll through the old town, visit a beer garden, and prepare for the adventure ahead.

Day 2: Munich – Bad Tölz (60 km)
You will follow the River Isar south through pristine woodland and lush meadows. Baroque villages and riverside paths will lead you to Bad Tölz, a charming spa town backed by the Alps.

Day 3: Bad Tölz – Schwaz/Jenbach or Maurach (68–77 km)
The Isar will guide you to Lake Sylvenstein and on through the Karwendel nature park. You will cross into Austria, reaching the turquoise Achensee before descending into the Inn Valley.

Day 4: Schwaz/Jenbach or Maurach – Innsbruck (43–50 km)
A relaxed ride along the Inn cycle path will bring you to Innsbruck, the Tyrolean capital. Explore the Golden Roof, the Olympic ski jump on Bergisel, and the elegant old town.

Day 5: Innsbruck – Rio Pusteria/Bressanone (55 km + train transfer)
The steep climb to the Brenner Pass is handled by train or bus. From the pass you will freewheel south through Vipiteno and Fortezza to the sunny town of Bressanone in South Tyrol.

Day 6: Rio Pusteria/Bressanone – Villabassa or Dobbiaco (50–55 km)
You will pedal along the River Rienza through the Puster Valley. In Brunico, wander the old high street and visit the Messner Mountain Museum before continuing to Villabassa or Dobbiaco.

Day 7: Villabassa or Dobbiaco – Cortina d'Ampezzo (30–35 km)
A short but spectacular stage along the old railway cycle path. You will pass Lake Dobbiaco and Lake Landro with views of the Tre Cime before arriving in Cortina, the Pearl of the Dolomites.

Day 8: Cortina d'Ampezzo – Ponte nelle Alpi/Belluno (55–75 km)
From Cortina you will descend through the Boite Valley with Monte Pelmo and Antelao towering on either side. The route continues to Ponte nelle Alpi or the historic town of Belluno.

Day 9: Ponte nelle Alpi/Belluno – Conegliano (55–75 km)
You will ride past Longarone — rebuilt after the 1963 Vajont dam disaster — and glide through the Prosecco hills to reach Conegliano, gateway to the Veneto wine country.

Day 10: Conegliano – Treviso (50 km)
A gentle stage through the plains will take you to Treviso, a graceful city of canals, frescoed facades and lively piazzas. Taste the local prosecco and wander along the Sile river.

Day 11: Treviso – Venice/Mestre (47 km)
Your final ride will follow the Sile cycle path across the Venetian plain. You will pass elegant Palladian villas before reaching Mestre, the gateway to Venice. Cross the lagoon to explore the Serenissima.

Day 12: Venice/Mestre – Departure
Individual departure or extend your stay to explore Venice at leisure.
