🙋 Common questions
Is this tour suitable for children?

What are the daily cycling distances?
Stages range from 18 to 40 km per day, with an optional circular tour of 25 km on Day 3. Day 5 offers a flexible route of 20 to 38 km depending on your family's energy level. Rest days or shorter options are easy to arrange.
How does the return transfer work?
The return train journey from Linz to Passau is included in the tour price. Direct trains run every two hours in 2nd class. Please note that own bikes with rim widths over 5 cm must be registered in advance.
What type of accommodation is provided?
You will stay in quality 3-star hotels along the route and a 4-star hotel in Linz. All hotels include daily breakfast buffet and are selected for their family-friendly facilities.
Is luggage transport included?
Yes. Your luggage is collected each morning by 9:00 a.m. and delivered to your next hotel by approximately 6:30 p.m., so you can ride with just a daypack.
Can we rent bikes?
Trekking bikes and children's bikes are available as a supplement. E-bikes can be requested as well. All rentals are for the full duration of the stay.
What is the best time to visit?
The tour runs from mid-June to early October. High season offers the warmest weather and longest days, while low season in September and October brings quieter paths and autumn colours.

Breakfast is included each morning. Half board can be added as a supplement. Lunches and other meals are at your own expense, with plenty of restaurants and cafés along the route.
