What type of accommodation is provided?
You will stay in a mix of country houses, hotels and B&Bs ranging from 2 to 4 stars, depending on the category selected. All nights include breakfast. Most properties feature swimming pools with views over the Umbrian Valley.
How do I get to the starting point?
The tour starts in Assisi. The nearest airports are Perugia San Francesco (15 km), Rome Fiumicino (190 km) and Florence (180 km). Assisi has a train station with connections to major Italian cities. Free parking is available at the first hotel for the duration of the tour.
Is luggage transfer included?
Yes, luggage transfer between hotels is included in the price. You only need to carry a small daypack with water, snacks and personal items while cycling.
What type of bike is provided?
Hybrid trekking bikes with 24 or 27 gears are provided, equipped with a handlebar bag, lock, odometer and phone mount. E-bikes are available at an additional cost. Children's bikes, trailer bikes and child seats can also be arranged.
