A road or touring bike is included in the tour price. E-bikes are also available for an additional fee. All bikes come equipped with the necessary accessories for a comfortable ride along mixed terrain.
Is there support along the route?
This is a self-guided tour with GPS tracks and a detailed roadbook. Your luggage is transferred between hotels daily. A local telephone assistance line is available 7 days a week in case of mechanical issues or route questions.
What meals are included?
Breakfast is included every morning at your hotel. Lunches and dinners are at your own expense, giving you the freedom to discover local restaurants, seafood taverns and beachside cafés along the way.
When is the best time to travel?
Spring (April–June) and early autumn (September–October) offer the most comfortable temperatures for cycling in southern Portugal, with less wind and moderate heat. Summer is possible but can be very warm on exposed coastal stretches.
