Short Description

An epic ten-day crossing from the Bavarian capital to Italy's fashion and design capital. You will follow the Isar through pristine forests, cross into the Austrian Tyrol along the Inn Valley, traverse the Brenner Pass by train, then ride south through the vineyards of Alto Adige, past the Brenta Dolomites, along Lake Iseo and through the Franciacorta wine region — arriving in Milan along the historic Navigli canals.

Tour Program

Day 1: Arrival in Munich
Individual arrival at your hotel in Munich.

Day 2: Munich – Bad Tölz (approx. 60 km)
Following the Isar River, you will leave Munich behind and find yourself immediately immersed in unspoiled nature and lush forests. Bavarian abbeys and picturesque villages line the route as you ride through the Isar wetlands. Your destination is Bad Tölz, a renowned spa town where baroque architecture meets the dramatic backdrop of the Alps rising to the south.

Day 3: Bad Tölz – Schwaz/Jenbach or Maurach (approx. 68–77 km)
Today you will continue along the Isar to Lake Sylvenstein, then cross the Karwendel Nature Park into Austria, reaching the Achensee region and its stunning mountain lake. A boat trip on the Achensee is possible before you ride on through the Inn Valley to Maurach, Jenbach, or Schwaz.

Day 4: Schwaz/Jenbach or Maurach – Bressanone (approx. 96 km or 88 km + train, ticket included)
You will ride the Inn Valley cycle path to Innsbruck, capital of Tyrol, where a stroll through the old town reveals the famous Golden Roof and the Bergisel ski jump. A train or bus transfer takes you over the Brenner Pass into Italy. From the pass you will coast along the old railway line through Vipiteno and Fortezza down to Bressanone.

Day 5: Bressanone – Caldaro/Mendola (approx. 65 km)
The route leads south through the verdant Isarco Valley, past vineyards and through Bolzano, the vibrant capital of Alto Adige. Along the celebrated Alto Adige Wine Road you will pass enchanting villages before arriving in Caldaro, renowned for its sun-kissed lake and exceptional wines.

Day 6: Caldaro/Mendola – Passo Tonale – Ponte di Legno (approx. 55 km)
A transfer takes you to the Tonale Pass, where your ride begins amid crisp mountain air. You will coast through the Val di Non, celebrated for its apple orchards, with the spectacular Brenta Dolomites forming a dramatic backdrop, all the way down to the alpine village of Ponte di Legno.

Day 7: Ponte di Legno – Darfo Boario Terme (approx. 70 km)
Today you will discover the Val Camonica, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its ancient rock carvings. Medieval castles punctuate the valley as you ride southward to Darfo Boario Terme, celebrated for its thermal springs — a wonderful blend of nature, history, and relaxation.

Day 8: Darfo Boario Terme – Bergamo (approx. 80–85 km)
From Darfo Boario Terme you will ride to the shores of Lake Iseo, then wind through the Franciacorta, Italy's premier sparkling wine region. The day culminates in Bergamo, where the walled Città Alta awaits with its medieval lanes and sweeping views over the Lombard plain.

Day 9: Bergamo – Milan (approx. 80–85 km)
Your final stage follows the Adda River. A highlight is the crossing on Leonardo da Vinci's ferry at Imbersago, a rope-driven craft from the early sixteenth century. Arriving in Milan, you will glide along the Navigli canals before reaching the heart of Italy's fashion and design capital.
