How fit do I need to be?
The route is flat and follows well-maintained lakeside paths. Daily distances range from 30 to 42 km. An e-bike option is also available.
What type of bike should I choose?
You can bring your own bike or rent a bike or an e-bike (on request) for the entire trip. Rental bikes are collected at the info point in Bregenz. Prices for each bike option are shown on this page.
Do I need a passport?
You will cross from Austria into Switzerland and then into Germany. EU citizens need a valid ID card; other nationalities should check visa requirements for all three countries.
Is the ferry crossing included?
Yes. The ferry from Constance/Staad to Meersburg — including your bike — is included in the tour price.
Is luggage transfer included?
Yes. Your bags are picked up at 9:00 AM (8:45 AM in Bregenz) and delivered to your next hotel by 6:30 PM.
Are meals included?
Breakfast is included daily. You can add a half-board package (3 three-course dinners) for an extra charge. An ice cream break in Constance is also included.
Can I bring children?
Yes. Children 0–6 ride free, ages 7–11 get 50% off, and ages 12–15 receive a 25% discount (one child per double room with two full-paying adults).
When can I start, and are there any blocked dates?
Daily arrivals from April to October. Arrivals on some days in August are not possible (Lake Night Festival in Constance), and further blocked dates may follow. The surcharges for the Bregenz Festival (arrivals July – August) and for Friedrichshafen trade fair dates are already included in the price shown for your arrival date.

• Up to 84 days before the departure date: 20% penalty of the total package
• 83 to 42 days before the departure date: 50% penalty of the total package
• 41 to 28 days before the departure date: 70% penalty of the total package
• 27 to 15 days before the departure date: 80% penalty of the total package
• 14 to 0 days before the departure date: 90% penalty of the total package
• No-show: 100% penalty of the total package
