What type of bike should I choose?

You can bring your own bike or rent a trekking bike (€90) or an e-bike (€200) for the entire trip. Rental bikes are collected at the info point in Bregenz.

Do I need a passport?

You will cross from Austria into Switzerland and then into Germany. EU citizens need a valid ID card; other nationalities should check visa requirements for all three countries.

Is the ferry crossing included?

Yes. The ferry from Constance/Staad to Meersburg — including your bike — is included in the tour price.

Is luggage transfer included?

Yes. Your bags are picked up at 9:00 AM (8:45 AM in Bregenz) and delivered to your next hotel by 6:30 PM.

Breakfast is included daily. You can add a half-board package (3 dinners) for an extra charge. An ice cream break in Constance is also included.

Yes. Children 0–6 ride free, ages 7–11 get 50% off, and ages 12–15 receive a 25% discount (one child per double room with two full-paying adults).

Short Description

Loop around Lake Constance in 6 days starting from Bregenz, cycling through Austria, Switzerland, and Germany. Flat lakeside paths, the Mainau flower island, a scenic ferry crossing, and charming towns — with luggage transfer and an ice cream stop included.

Tour Program

Day 1 — Arrival in Bregenz
You will arrive in Bregenz and collect your travel documents and rental bike at the info point. Explore Austria's festival city on the shores of Lake Constance at your leisure.

Day 2 — Bregenz → Rorschach/Arbon (40 km)
You will cycle through lakeside parks past the Festspielhaus and the famous floating stage, then continue to Mehrerau monastery — the only active monastery on Austria's Lake Constance. You will ride through the Altenrhein nature reserve into Switzerland to Rorschach or Arbon.

Day 3 — Rorschach/Arbon → Constance/Kreuzlingen (32 km)
You will follow the picturesque Swiss shore via Romanshorn and Güttingen to the historic Council City of Constance, where your complimentary ice cream break awaits. Optional detour to the UNESCO-listed monastery island of Reichenau.

Day 4 — Constance → Friedrichshafen (33 km + ferry)
You will spend the morning exploring Mainau, the famous flower island, then take the included ferry from Constance/Staad to Meersburg. You will ride along the German lakeshore via Immenstaad to Friedrichshafen.

Day 5 — Friedrichshafen → Bregenz (35 km)
You will cycle through the Eriskircher Ried nature reserve, past Langenargen and Wasserburg, to the famous Bavarian island town of Lindau, then back across the Austrian border to Bregenz.

Day 6 — Departure
You will enjoy breakfast and depart, or extend your stay with extra nights in Bregenz.
