Yes. Your bags are picked up each morning by 9:00 AM (8:45 AM in Bregenz) and delivered to your next hotel by approximately 6:30 PM.

Breakfast is included every morning. The optional half-board add-on covers four dinners — in Egnach/Romanshorn, Stein am Rhein, Konstanz, and Bregenz.

Are there dates when the tour is not available?

The tour runs daily from 17 April to 17 October 2026. A small number of dates are blocked due to local events in Konstanz (23-24 June and 3-4 August 2026).

What about accommodation during the Bregenz Festival?

During the festival period (21 July to 23 August), overnight stays in Bregenz may be arranged in nearby towns such as Wolfurt, Hard, Dornbirn, or Lustenau. A festival surcharge applies for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday arrivals in this period.

Is parking available in Bregenz?

Yes. Free public parking is located 3-4 km from the centre. Paid options closer in range from approximately 6 to 10 EUR per day. Underground parking at the hotel can be pre-booked for the full stay.

Short Description

Pedal the full loop of Lake Constance, starting and ending in Bregenz. Over six nights you cross three countries — Austria, Switzerland, and Germany — riding flat, well-marked paths that hug the shoreline almost the entire way. Highlights include the medieval painted facades of Stein am Rhein, a day trip to the thundering Rhine Falls, the garden island of Mainau, and the charming island town of Lindau. The route mixes lakeside nature reserves, vineyard-covered peninsulas, and a short ferry crossing from Konstanz to Meersburg. Luggage moves ahead each day, breakfast is always included, and four dinners round out the package — so you only need to focus on the ride.

Tour Program

Day 1 — Arrival in Bregenz
Settle into your hotel in Bregenz and collect your travel documents and rental bike (if booked) at the info point. The rest of the day is yours to explore the lakeside promenade or ride the Pfaender cable car for panoramic views over the lake and the Alps.

Day 2 — Bregenz to Egnach/Romanshorn (40-46 km)
Ride through the lakefront parks past the famous floating stage and on to Mehrerau, the only active monastery on Austria's Lake Constance shore. The path continues through the Altenrhein nature reserve before crossing into Switzerland and reaching your overnight stop on the southern shore.

Day 3 — Egnach/Romanshorn to Stein am Rhein (48-54 km)
Follow the lakeshore to Kreuzlingen, then continue along the Untersee through Ermatingen and Berlingen. The day ends in Stein am Rhein, one of Switzerland's most photographed towns, famous for its lavishly painted medieval house facades.

Day 4 — Stein am Rhein: Rhine Falls excursion (50 km)
A loop day along the Rhine cycle path takes you to Schaffhausen and its Munot Fortress, then on to the Rhine Falls — the largest waterfall in Europe. After soaking in the spectacle, ride back to Stein am Rhein for a second night.

Day 5 — Stein am Rhein to Konstanz (44 km)
Cross the Hoeri Peninsula to Radolfzell, then ride past the UNESCO-listed monastery island of Reichenau into the historic Council City of Konstanz. Optional detours include a full island loop of Reichenau (+14 km) or a visit to the famous flower island of Mainau (+14 km).

Day 6 — Konstanz to Bregenz (57 km + ferry)
Take the ferry from Konstanz-Staad to Meersburg, then ride along the northern shore through Immenstaad to Friedrichshafen, home of the Zeppelin Museum. Continue through the Argen nature reserve, past the island town of Lindau, and back to Bregenz to close the loop.

Day 7 — Departure
Your tour ends after breakfast. Additional nights in Bregenz can be arranged on request.
