Lake Constance Leisure from Bregenz

Day 1 — Arrival in Bregenz
Settle into your 4-star hotel in the festival city of Bregenz. Collect your travel documents and rental bike (if booked) at the info point. The rest of the day is yours to explore the lakefront promenade or ride the Pfänderbahn cable car to the panoramic summit — included in the tour.

Day 2 — Bregenz → Güttingen / Egnach (46–56 km)
Ride through leafy lakeside parks past the iconic floating stage and on to Mehrerau, the only active monastery on Austria’s Lake Constance shore. Cross into Switzerland via the Altenrhein nature reserve, passing Rorschach and the charming harbour town of Arbon before reaching your overnight stop.

Day 3 — Güttingen / Egnach → Rielasingen-Gailingen (52–62 km)
Follow the southern shore through Kreuzlingen and along the Untersee to Ermatingen. Continue via Berlingen to Stein am Rhein, famous for its beautifully frescoed medieval house fronts, then pedal on to Rielasingen-Gailingen.

Day 4 — Rielasingen-Gailingen loop via Rhine Falls (30–50 km)
Cycle the Rhine path to Schaffhausen and its Munot fortress, then stand at the edge of Europe’s largest waterfall. An included boat ride takes you right into the spray. Return to the same hotel for a second night.

Day 5 — Rielasingen-Gailingen → Constance / Kreuzlingen (53 km)
Cross the Höri peninsula to Radolfzell, ride past UNESCO-listed Reichenau Island (optional +14 km island loop) and arrive in the historic council city of Constance. Check into your 4-star hotel.

Day 6 — Rest day in Constance
A full free day to wander the cobbled Niederburg quarter, visit the harbour landmark Imperia, or pedal to the lush flower island of Mainau (+14 km). Second night in Constance.

Day 7 — Constance → Friedrichshafen (43 km + ferry)
Take the short ferry from Wallhausen to Überlingen (included), then ride past the Bronze Age pile dwellings at Uhldingen and the twin castles of Meersburg to Friedrichshafen, home of the Zeppelin.

Day 8 — Friedrichshafen → Bregenz (35 km)
Visit the Zeppelin Museum if you like, then cycle through the Argenmündung nature reserve to the island town of Lindau. Cross back into Austria and finish your loop in Bregenz.

Day 9 — Departure
Breakfast and individual departure, or extend your stay with additional nights.
