Lake Constance Classic from Bregenz

Day 1: Arrival in Bregenz
You'll arrive in the festival city of Bregenz on Lake Constance. Pick up your travel documents and rental bike (if booked) at the infopoint, then settle into your hotel. You can also arrive by train at Bregenz station, which is well connected to the long-distance rail network.

Day 2: Bregenz – Güttingen/Romanshorn (45–56 km)
You'll ride along the lake, passing the festival house and the lake stage, to Mehrerau and its active monastery. The route winds past numerous swimming spots to the river Bregenzer Ache and through the Altenrhein nature reserve to Staad before reaching your overnight stop.

Day 3: Güttingen/Romanshorn – Singen/Rielasingen (55–65 km)
Today you'll follow the shoreline to Kreuzlingen, then trace the Untersee through Ermatingen and Berlingen to reach the picturesque village of Stein am Rhein with its magnificent house facades. The day ends in Singen/Rielasingen, below the Hohentwiel Fortress (entrance included).

Day 4: Singen/Rielasingen – Schaffhausen & Rhine Falls (55 km)
The Rhine cycle path carries you to Schaffhausen and its Munot Fortress. Then comes the highlight: the Rhine Falls, the largest waterfall in Europe, where the included boat trip brings you close to the falls, before you ride back to the same hotel for a second night.

Day 5: Singen/Rielasingen – Constance/Kreuzlingen (57 km)
You'll cross the scenic Höri Peninsula to Radolfzell, then cycle past the island of Reichenau before arriving in the historic Council City of Constance. An optional tour of the monastery island of Reichenau adds 16 km.

Day 6: Constance – Friedrichshafen (33 km + ferry)
Morning time to explore flower-covered Mainau Island, then you'll catch the included ferry from Constance/Staad to Meersburg. The route follows the lakeshore through Immenstaad to Friedrichshafen, with its castle church and the customs building in the middle of the park. After the crossing, a detour to the pile dwellings in Uhldingen adds 10 km.

Day 7: Friedrichshafen – Bregenz (35 km)
Your final riding day takes you through the Argenmündung nature reserve and into the charming island town of Lindau. From here it's a short stretch back to the festival town of Bregenz, completing your loop around the lake.

Day 8: Departure from Bregenz
After breakfast, your tour ends. You're free to head home or extend your stay with additional nights.
