What is the difficulty level of this tour?
This tour covers 25 to 50 km per day on flat terrain along the Danube Cycle Path. It is specifically designed for families with children and requires no special fitness. E-bikes and child trailers are available for rent.
What type of accommodation is provided?
You will stay in family-friendly 3 and 4-star hotels, with one night on a farm. All accommodations include breakfast and offer child-friendly facilities such as play areas or nearby playgrounds.
Is luggage transfer included?
Yes, your luggage is transported from hotel to hotel all the way to Vienna. Each person may check one piece of luggage weighing up to 23 kg.
What bikes are available for rent?
You can rent 21-speed touring bikes, children's bikes, child trailers, child seats and electric bikes. Children's e-bikes are available from age 9.
Are there activities for children along the route?
Absolutely. Highlights include the Celtic Village in Mitterkirchen, the Grottenbahn amusement ride in Linz, the Garten Tulln adventure playground and a ride on the Vienna Giant Ferris Wheel, which is included in the tour price.
