What is the difficulty level of this tour?
This tour covers approximately 260 km over five cycling days with daily distances of 45 to 70 km. The terrain is predominantly flat along lakeshores and river valleys with gentle hills in places. It is suitable for cyclists with a reasonable level of fitness.
What type of accommodation is provided?
You will stay in 3 and 4-star guesthouses and hotels in double rooms with private facilities. All six nights include breakfast. Tourist taxes are payable locally.
Is luggage transport included?
Yes. Your luggage is transported daily from hotel to hotel. Transfers as described in the programme are also included.
What bike options are available?
You can bring your own bike or rent locally. A 21-speed trekking bike costs, a TOP performance bike, and an e-bike with Bosch motor are avilable for the full tour.
How do I get to Villach?
Villach is well connected by train from Klagenfurt, Salzburg and Ljubljana. The nearest airports are Klagenfurt, Salzburg and Ljubljana, all with good rail connections to Villach. By car, use viamichelin.it or Google Maps for route planning.
