Short Description

A captivating cycling journey from the alpine charm of Bressanone through the vine-covered valleys of Alto Adige, past the dramatic peaks of the Brenta Dolomites, and along the shores of Lake Iseo into the Franciacorta wine country — all the way to the vibrant canals of Milan. Seven days of ever-changing landscapes, from mountain passes to gentle plains.

Tour Program

Day 1: Arrival in Bressanone
Individual arrival at your hotel in Bressanone, the charming episcopal town nestled at the confluence of the Isarco and Rienza rivers.

Day 2: Bressanone – Caldaro/Mendola (approx. 65 km)
Your first stage will carry you south through the lush Isarco Valley, where terraced vineyards climb the hillsides and the air is fragrant with alpine herbs. You will pedal through Bolzano, the vibrant capital of Alto Adige, a city where Italian and Tyrolean cultures blend seamlessly. Continuing along the celebrated Alto Adige Wine Road, you will pass enchanting villages before arriving in Caldaro, famous for its sun-kissed lake and exceptional wines — the perfect spot to unwind after a day in the saddle.

Day 3: Caldaro/Mendola – Passo Tonale – Ponte di Legno (approx. 55 km)
A transfer takes you to the Tonale Pass, where today's ride begins amid the crisp mountain air. You will coast through the Val di Non, a region celebrated for its apple orchards, with the spectacular Brenta Dolomites forming a dramatic backdrop. The descent leads you to Ponte di Legno, a charming alpine village surrounded by towering peaks.

Day 4: Ponte di Legno – Darfo Boario Terme (approx. 70 km)
Today you will discover the Val Camonica, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its ancient rock carvings. Medieval castles punctuate the valley as you ride southward. Your destination is Darfo Boario Terme, celebrated for its thermal springs — a wonderful blend of nature, history, and relaxation.

Day 5: Darfo Boario Terme – Bergamo (approx. 80–85 km)
From Darfo Boario Terme you will ride to the picturesque shores of Lake Iseo, where tranquil waters mirror the surrounding mountains. The route then winds through the Franciacorta, Italy's premier sparkling wine region, where rolling vineyards stretch to the horizon. The day culminates in Bergamo, where the walled Città Alta awaits with its medieval lanes, Renaissance piazzas, and sweeping views over the plain.

Day 6: Bergamo – Milan (approx. 80–85 km)
Your final stage follows the Adda River southward. A highlight is the crossing on Leonardo da Vinci's ferry at Imbersago, a rope-driven craft designed in the early sixteenth century that uses the river's current alone. Arriving in Milan, you will glide along the historic Navigli canals, waterways that tell the story of the city's commercial and artistic heritage, before reaching the heart of Italy's fashion and design capital.

Day 7: Departure
Individual departure or possibility to extend your stay.
