Short Description

A captivating ride around Italy's largest lake. Starting from Bussolengo near Verona, you will circle Lake Garda from the Mediterranean-like southern shore, past lemon groves and the spectacular cliff-edge cycle path on the western bank, through the outdoor-sports mecca of Riva del Garda and Torbole at the northern tip, and down the Veronese side with its charming lakeside towns. A day trip to Verona, a ferry crossing, and a breathtaking descent from Monte Baldo at nearly 1,700 metres complete this unforgettable loop.

Tour Program

Day 1: Arrival in Bussolengo
Individual arrival at the hotel in Bussolengo, just 15 km from Verona, set between Lake Garda and the vineyard-covered pre-Alpine hills.

Day 2: Bussolengo – Circular Tour to Verona (40 km)
You will follow the River Adige to Verona, the elegant and romantic city of Romeo and Juliet. The historic centre with its Roman Arena, palaces, and ancient alleyways has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2000. The return ride takes you through the southern Garda hills past Sommacampagna.

Day 3: Bussolengo – Salò (55 km)
Today you will reach the shores of Lake Garda near Peschiera. Enjoy stops in Desenzano, Padenghe, and Moniga before arriving in Salò, nestled in a bay on the western shore. The famous Lungolago promenade invites a leisurely stroll.

Day 4: Salò – Limone (30 km)
From Salò you will ride along the lake toward Gargnano, then take a ferry (ticket included) directly to Limone, known for its lemon groves, delicate olive oil, and long-lived inhabitants. Here begins a stretch of the spectacular cliff-edge cycle path suspended 50 metres above the water.

Day 5: Limone – Malcesine (20–60 km)
The northern tip of Lake Garda is a paradise for water sports, climbing, and cycling. You will pass Riva del Garda and Torbole before riding south along the eastern shore to Malcesine at the foot of Monte Baldo. A boat crossing is available to shorten the stage (ticket included).

Day 6: Malcesine – Monte Baldo – Garda (45 km)
A cable car or transfer (ticket included) will lift you to nearly 1,700 m on the crest of Monte Baldo. From this stunning vantage point you will descend along a spectacular mountain road back to the Mediterranean atmosphere of the lakeside, arriving in the town of Garda.

Day 7: Garda – Bussolengo (40 km)
From Garda you will ride through Bardolino and Lazise, two charming lakeside towns perfect for a lingering lunch. A final ride through the hilly hinterland brings you back to Bussolengo.

Day 8: Bussolengo, Departure
Individual departure or possibility to extend the stay.
