What is the difficulty level of this tour?
This is an easy tour on mostly flat terrain. The only notable climb is Day 2 through Entre-Deux-Mers with 430 metres of elevation. The optional Day 7 stage to the Dune du Pyla can extend to 60 km. E-bikes available.
What type of accommodation is provided?
You stay in 3-star hotels and charming guesthouses. The final three nights are in a 3 or 4-star hotel in Arcachon. All nights include breakfast, one dinner on Day 3.
How do I get to the starting point and back?
Taxi transfer from Bordeaux to Cadillac is included on Day 1. At the end, take the train from Arcachon to Bordeaux, about one hour and 12 euros per person.
What type of bike is best for this tour?
A touring bike is ideal. E-bikes and gravel bikes are also available for rent.
When is the best time to do this tour?
April to October, no departures on Thursdays. Late spring and early autumn are mildest. July and August bring warm ocean days.
