Short Description

Fifteen lakes in seven days across three countries. This sportive tour begins in the Dolomites at Dobbiaco, follows the Drava river into Austria, loops through Carinthia's warmest bathing lakes and crosses into Slovenia to reach iconic Lake Bled before returning to Villach. Ideal for e-bike riders or experienced cyclists who enjoy hilly terrain.

Tour Program

Day 1: Arrival in Dobbiaco/Villabassa
Settle into your hotel in the Alta Pusteria valley. In the afternoon, ride out to Lake Dobbiaco and Lake Landro, set between the Tre Cime and Fanes-Senes-Braies natural parks.

Day 2: Dobbiaco – Oberdrauburg/Kötschach (70–75 km)
From the watershed at Dobbiaco Pass you will descend gently along the River Drava. Crossing into Austria, the Dolomites will fill the horizon behind you. A swim stop at Lake Tristach, East Tyrol's only bathing lake, rewards the detour.

Day 3: Oberdrauburg – Weissensee (60–70 km)
The Drava cycle path will carry you through classic Carinthian villages to Hermagor. From there you will reach Lake Pressegger, one of Austria's warmest lakes, before climbing to the crystal-clear Weissensee.

Day 4: Weissensee – Lake Ossiach (50–60 km)
You will descend from the Weissensee to Villach, the cycling capital of Carinthia, then ride on to Lake Ossiach with its warm turquoise waters.

Day 5: Lake Ossiach – Lake Bled (65–75 km)
From Lake Ossiach you will pass Wörthersee, Carinthia's largest lake, then cross into Slovenia to reach Lake Bled, one of the most famous Alpine settings in the world.

Day 6: Bled – Villach (60–70 km)
The final stage takes you from Bled through Jesenice to Mojstrana, gateway to Triglav National Park. You will pass the emerald Lake Jasna and the green springs of Lake Zelenci before the descent through Kranjska Gora back to Villach.

Day 7: Villach – Departure
Individual departure or extend your stay.
