When is the best time to ride from Porto to Lisbon?
The recommended season is March to November. The Atlantic coast benefits from ocean breezes, making even summer months comfortable for cycling.
What is the difficulty level?
This tour is rated Easy to Moderate. Most stages are flat along the coast (35-42 km), with one longer stage of 81 km from Figueira da Foz to Nazare (which can be shortened to 42 km with an optional transfer).
What about the long stage on Day 5?
The 81 km stage from Figueira da Foz to Nazare can be shortened to approximately 42 km with an optional transfer service (not included in the price, available on request).
What is the departure day?
The standard departure day is Sunday.
Is an e-bike available?
Yes, e-bikes are available as a supplement for the 5 cycling stages. Standard e-bike costs EUR 150 and premium e-bike costs EUR 200.
Can I combine this with another tour?
This tour can be combined with our Douro Valley tour for a 16-day Douro-to-Lisbon experience.
Is the ferry at Aveiro included?
The ferry transfer in the route from Sao Jacinto to Barra is not included in the price package. The schedule is available on spot and also in the app.
