• How difficult is this tour?

  

  This tour is rated Moderate. Daily distances range from 34 to 40 km with some hilly sections inland, particularly on Day 2 (693 m climbing). A reasonable level of fitness and some cycling experience are recommended. E-bikes are available if you prefer extra assistance on the hills.

• When is the best time to ride?

  

  The tour runs from March to November. Spring (April-June) and early autumn (September-October) offer ideal cycling weather with warm temperatures, fewer crowds, and vineyards in full colour. Summer (July-August) is warmer but the coastal breeze provides relief.

• What bikes are available?

  

  You can rent trekking bikes, gravel bikes, e-trekking bikes, e-gravel bikes, or carbon road bikes. All come equipped with helmet, lock, phone holder, and repair kit. Clipless pedals (SPD, SL, LOOK) available at a small supplement.

• Can I start on any day?

  

  Yes, departures are available any day of the week from March through November, giving you complete flexibility to plan around your schedule.

• What about luggage?

  

  Your bags are transferred between hotels each day so you ride with just a daypack. A textile bag with water bottle and luggage tags is included.

• Is the route well-marked?

  

  You receive the Fiore App with offline navigation and voice guidance, plus detailed maps and GPX files. A 24/7 emergency number is available throughout.

• Can I skip the longest cycling day?

  

  On Day 4, you have the option to take a car transfer from Porec to Kanfanar (34 km) and cycle only the flatter 32 km stretch to Rovinj, making it a more relaxed final riding day.

• What is the accommodation like?

  

  Classic hotels are charming 3-star properties including boutique B&Bs and family-run hotels. Premium hotels are upscale 4-star heritage and boutique properties with wellness facilities and gourmet dining.
