The tour can start on any day from 1 April to 30 October. Departures from April to mid-June and from late September to the end of October are priced below the summer peak, which runs from 20 June to 19 September. The route combines coastal rides around Novigrad and Umag with the inland hill towns.

The tour is graded easy to moderate and suits occasional cyclists with a good level of fitness. Daily rides range from 36 to 58 km, with some higher hills around Grožnjan and Motovun. Three wine cellar visits with tastings and snacks are included, one at each of the tour's wine hotels. On the first afternoon your hosts in Nova Vas will lead a private tasting, in Motovun you will join a guided cellar visit with a wine presentation, and near Bale a guided cellar visit with tasting closes the tour.
