From the soaring peaks of the Dolomites all the way to the canals of Venice, this eight-day journey follows the old railway trail through some of northern Italy's most captivating landscapes. You will pedal past the Tre Cime di Lavaredo to Cortina d'Ampezzo, descend through the Cadore and past Belluno to Feltre, cross the foothills via Bassano del Grappa and the enchanting hilltop village of Asolo, then glide along the Sile River through Treviso to the Venetian lagoon.

What is the difficulty level of this tour?
The first two days follow the gentle old railway trail through the Dolomites. From the third day onward, there are some rolling hills through the Veneto foothills before reaching the flat plain near Venice. Daily distances range from 30 to 75 km. Suitable for cyclists from age 14. An e-bike option is available.
What type of accommodation is provided?
You will stay in 3-star and 4-star hotels in double rooms with private facilities. Breakfast is included every morning. A tourist tax may apply, payable directly at the hotel.
How do I get to the starting point?
Villabassa and Dobbiaco are reachable by train (Trenitalia, ÖBB) or by air via Treviso, Venice, or Trieste airports with onward connections. Transfer from the airport can be arranged on request.
Is luggage transferred between hotels?
Yes, your luggage is transported from hotel to hotel each day.
How do I return to the starting point after the tour?
A minibus transfer from Mestre to Dobbiaco/Villabassa is available on Wednesdays and Saturdays for €79 per person (plus €45 for your own bike, minimum 2 persons). Alternatively, the Cortina Express bus runs daily from Mestre to Cortina and onward to Dobbiaco.
