Cyclades Island Hopping by Yacht & E-Bike
Cyclades
Short Description
Seven islands, one small motor yacht and an e-bike waiting for you on deck every morning. You wake up in a different harbour each day, ride out through whitewashed villages, terraced hillsides and pine-scented coastal roads, then swim straight off the boat before lunch. Your English-speaking guide rides with you and knows where the good coffee, the old pottery workshops and the quiet beaches are. Between Paros, Sifnos, Syros, Tinos, Mykonos, sacred Delos and Naxos you get the Cyclades most people only see from a ferry deck: the interior villages, the marble quarries, the winery terraces looking across to Mykonos. Evenings are spent on board with the same small group of travellers, or ashore in a harbour taverna. It is a tour for confident riders who want hills, sea and culture in the same day.

🙋 Common questions
How hard is the cycling?
This is a level 4 out of 5 tour: hilly to mountainous terrain with climbs of up to roughly 800 m a day and daily stages of 25 to 45 km. You need to be a confident rider on winding descents, uneven asphalt and the occasional gravel stretch. Riders used to longer days will enjoy it most.
Do I need an e-bike?
Every stage, climbs included, is far easier with electric assistance, and e-bikes are available without limit on this tour. Rental is booked separately. If you rent one, you should already be comfortable handling an e-bike: they are heavier and faster than a normal bike.
Can I bring my own bike?
You may bring your own non-electric bike. Private e-bikes are not allowed on board for health and safety reasons, so if you want electric assistance you rent on site.
Is a helmet compulsory?
Yes, helmets are mandatory on all rides. Bring your own well-fitted helmet if you can — rental helmets on board are limited and must be reserved.
Do I have to ride every day?
No. The tour is guided as a group, but after talking it over with your guides you can ride recommended routes on your own, or simply take a half or full day off to swim and stay on board.
What if the weather changes the plan?
The Cyclades are windy, and although the season is chosen for lighter winds, an island may occasionally have to be skipped. In that case the yacht stays longer at another island — all of them are big enough for good alternatives, and regular ferries make day trips possible.
What language is the tour in?
All guiding is in English.
How many people are on board?
A maximum of 12 guests in 6 cabins.
