Cycle through the legendary vineyards of Bordeaux on this 5-night self-guided tour from Pauillac. You will ride the Route des Grands Crus past Lafite Rothschild, Mouton Rothschild, and Château Margaux before crossing the Gironde estuary by boat to the imposing Citadel of Blaye. The route continues through the prestigious appellations of Pomerol and Saint-Émilion, and finishes along the Roger Lapébie bike path into the heart of UNESCO-listed Bordeaux.

What is the difficulty level of this tour?
This tour is rated as easy, with four cycling days covering approximately 40-55 km each on mostly flat terrain along rivers and through vineyards. Total elevation gain is around 725 metres spread across four days. The Roger Lapébie path on the final day is entirely car-free.
What type of accommodation is provided?
You will stay in 3 to 4-star hotels and charming guesthouses. Two category levels are available: Comfort (3-star hotels) and Superior (3-star superior to 4-star hotels and charming guesthouses). All nights include breakfast, and two dinners are included.
What type of bike is available?
Touring bikes, e-bikes, and gravel bikes are available for rental. Each bike comes with a lock, repair kit, rear bag, handlebar bag, and smartphone holder. Helmets are available on request.
How does luggage transfer work?
Your luggage is transferred between hotels on each cycling day. You ride with only a handlebar bag and rear pannier while your main luggage arrives at your next accommodation.
Is the Gironde estuary crossing included?
Yes, the ferry crossing from Lamarque to Blaye on Day 3 is included in the tour price. The crossing takes approximately 20 minutes and offers views of the estuary and the citadel.
