How difficult is this tour?
The route covers approximately 216 km over four cycling days on well-maintained, mostly flat paths through the Altmühl Valley and along the Danube. It is suitable for riders of average fitness.
What bikes are available?
Trekking bikes (€90) and e-bikes (€200) can be rented for the full duration. Bikes are ready at your hotel on the first day.
Can I get back to Gunzenhausen from Regensburg?
Yes. A return by bus is available every Saturday (whole season) and additionally on Fridays in June and September, for €45 per person. On remaining days, a return by regional train is available for €25 per person (from 9 a.m., 2–3 connections).
What type of accommodation is included?
You will stay in good 3-star and 4-star hotels with daily breakfast buffet. Half-board (5 evenings, 3-course dinner) is available as a supplement for €139.
What are the departure days?
Arrivals are possible from Friday to Monday between 1 May and 26 September 2026.
Is luggage transferred?
Yes. Luggage is collected at 9 a.m. and delivered to your next hotel by approximately 6:30 p.m., with liability coverage up to €1,000 per person.
Are there children's discounts?
Yes: children 0–6 stay free, ages 7–11 receive 50% off, and ages 12–15 receive 25% off (max 1 child per double room with 2 full-paying adults).

• 29 to 20 days before the departure date: 30% penalty of the total package
• 19 to 10 days before the departure date: 40% penalty of the total package
