Short Description

Cycle the Swedish Riviera along Sydkustleden, a 262 km coastal route from Simrishamn to Helsingborg through Skåne's finest beaches, medieval towns and fishing villages. Seven days of relaxed riding on dedicated cycle paths with 3-4 star hotels and daily luggage transfers.

Tour Program

Day 1 – Arrival in Simrishamn
Check in to your centrally located hotel in this charming village in the Österlen region. Stroll the harbour, explore the narrow streets and settle in for the adventure ahead.

Day 2 – Simrishamn to Ystad (53 km)
Ride through open landscapes past ancient rock carvings and golden rapeseed fields. Stop at the mighty Ale Stones — Sweden's answer to Stonehenge — explore local vineyards, and cool off at the pristine Sandhammaren beach before reaching the medieval gem of Ystad.

Day 3 – Ystad to Trelleborg (47 km)
Leave Ystad and its 300 half-timbered houses behind as you follow the coastline through picturesque fishing villages. Ride past golf courses and spas along the Mossby–Hörte stretch, and visit Smygehuk — the southernmost point of Sweden — for unforgettable views from the lighthouse.

Day 4 – Trelleborg to Malmö (78 km)
Pedal through thousands of years of history, passing Bronze Age mounds and dolmens. Detour to the Falsterbo peninsula for world-class birdwatching and blindingly white beaches. The day ends in cosmopolitan Malmö with its vibrant food scene and iconic Turning Torso.

Day 5 – Malmö to Landskrona (57 km)
Enjoy sea breezes on one side and horse paddocks on the other. Swim at Lomma Beach, visit the Viking open-air museum at Löddeköpinge, and wind down at the harbour inn in Barsebäckshamn before reaching Landskrona.

Day 6 – Landskrona to Helsingborg (27 km)
A short but rewarding final ride. Explore Landskrona's 16th-century Citadellet fortress, cycle through the idyllic fishing village of Borstahusen, and cross the glacial hills of Glumslövs Backar before arriving in Helsingborg — optional ferry detour to the island of Ven adds 12 km.

Day 7 – Departure
Tour ends after breakfast. Continue north along Kattegattleden or head home — the choice is yours.
