What type of surface is the route?
Mostly paved roads and dedicated cycle lanes. Approximately 5-10% of the route is on well-maintained gravel paths.
Can I shorten any stages?
Yes — Day 4 (Trelleborg to Malmö) can be shortened from 78 km to 58 km by skipping the Falsterbo peninsula. Day 6 can be extended by 12 km with a ferry trip to the island of Ven.
How do I get to the start?
Fly to Copenhagen and take a direct train to Simrishamn (2 hours, ~€25). Ferries from Germany (Rostock, Travemünde, Sassnitz) arrive in Trelleborg with train connections to Simrishamn.
How do I get back from the finish?
A return transfer from Helsingborg to Simrishamn is available (€290 for 1-4 persons by car). Trains also run regularly between the two cities.
