Cycle from Agen to Cahors along the Lot Valley véloroute. Six days through plum orchards, Malbec vineyards, medieval villages and spectacular river meanders in Southwest France.

Tour Program

Day 1 — Welcome to Agen
Arrive at your hotel in Agen and collect your roadbook and bikes. Explore the capital of the prune — visit the famous canal bridge, the Goya collection at the Museum of Fine Arts and the vibrant farmers' market.

Day 2 — Agen to Le Temple-sur-Lot | 59 km · ↑ 90 m
Cross the iconic canal bridge and follow the greenway to Buzet and its vineyards. Join the Lot véloroute. Dinner included.

Day 3 — Le Temple-sur-Lot to Villeneuve-sur-Lot | 30 km · ↑ 40 m
A relaxed stage through plum orchards. Cross old bridges and ride through Casseneuil and Sainte-Livrade to Pujols, one of France's Most Beautiful Villages. Dinner included.

Day 4 — Villeneuve-sur-Lot to Puy-l'Évêque | 57 km · ↑ 200 m
Pedal past Pujols, Montsempron-Libos and Fumel. Detour to the fortress of Bonaguil. Finish in Puy-l'Évêque, a medieval pearl at the border of Quercy and Périgord.

Day 5 — Puy-l'Évêque to Cahors | 57 km · ↑ 300 m
The véloroute winds between vineyards and orchards. Discover Belaye, Luzech, and arrive in Cahors — City of Art and History, home to the iconic Pont Valentré.

Day 6 — Departure from Cahors
Breakfast and end of services.
