• What is the difficulty level of this tour?

  

  This tour follows flat, well-signposted cycle paths along the shores of Lake Constance. Daily distances range from 30 to 42 km, making it suitable for families with children. The terrain is entirely flat with no significant climbs. E-bikes are available on request.

• What type of accommodation is provided?

  

  You will stay in 3-star hotels and guesthouses, with a partly 4-star hotel in Friedrichshafen. All nights include bed and breakfast; a half-board option with 3 three-course dinners can be added. During the Bregenz Festival period (21 July – 22 August 2027), overnight stays may be arranged in nearby towns.

• Is luggage transport included?

  

  Yes, luggage transport from hotel to hotel is included with pick-up at 9:00 a.m. (8:45 a.m. in Bregenz) and delivery by approximately 6:30 p.m. The service covers liability up to €1,000 per person.

• What children's bikes are available?

  

  Children's bikes are available on request: 16-inch bikes for children 1.00–1.14 m tall, 20-inch bikes for 1.15–1.25 m, and 24-inch bikes for 1.26–1.35 m. A Kiddy Van child trailer can be added for €100 per bike and stay, with no deposit required.

• What is the children's discount policy?

  

  Children aged 0–6 stay free (100% discount), ages 7–11 receive 50% off, and ages 12–15 receive 25% off. Maximum 2 children in a double room with 2 full-paying adults; if extra beds are not possible, two adjacent double rooms are booked. On half board, children 0–6 have no meals included (children's menu payable on site), ages 7–11 get 50% off and from 12 years the full supplement applies.

• Which countries does this tour pass through?

  

  The route crosses three countries: Austria (Bregenz, start and finish), Switzerland (Arbon, Egnach, Romanshorn), and Germany (Constance, Friedrichshafen, Lindau). No border formalities are required within the Schengen area.

• What is included beyond accommodation and luggage transport?

  

  The package includes a ferry crossing from Constance/Staad to Meersburg with bikes, entry to the Zeppelin Museum in Friedrichshafen, an ice cream break with 3 scoops in Constance, an info package with detailed tour book, and travel documents with GPS data.

• When is the tour available?

  

  Daily arrivals from 16 April to 16 October 2027. Arrivals on 11–12 August 2027 are not possible (Lake Night Festival in Constance), and further blocked dates may follow. The surcharges for the Bregenz Festival (arrivals 10 July – 22 August) and for Friedrichshafen trade fair dates are already included in the price shown for your arrival date.
