How difficult is this cycling tour?
This is an easy to moderate tour. The route is mostly flat and car-free, following the Fulda and Weser rivers. Daily distances range from 65 to 74 km. There are a few short uphill sections of about 35 metres.
Is the return transfer included?
Yes. A daily return transfer by bus or train from Minden to Fulda is included. It departs at approximately 8:00 a.m. and arrives in Fulda by around 11:30 a.m.
What type of accommodation is provided?
You will stay in good 3-star and 4-star hotels and inns. Daily breakfast buffet or extended breakfast is included. Demi-board with four 3-course dinners can be added as an upgrade.
What are the cultural highlights?
The route passes half-timbered towns like Rotenburg, Hann. Münden, and Hamelin. You will visit UNESCO World Heritage Corvey Castle, the baroque Orangery in Kassel, and the spa town of Bad Karlshafen.
