What is the difficulty level of this tour?
This is a demanding road bike tour covering approximately 600 km over 6 riding days, with daily elevation gains up to 2,200 m. The route crosses two mountain passes and requires strong fitness and road cycling experience.
What type of accommodation is provided?
You will stay in guesthouses and 3-star hotels, occasionally 4-star, in double rooms with private bathrooms. All nights include breakfast.
Is luggage transfer included?
Yes, daily luggage transport from hotel to hotel is included in the package.
What bike options are available?
The tour is designed for road bikes. Road bike rental is available on request. Gravelbike rental is available for a supplement.
When can I depart?
Departures are available every Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday from 9 May to 26 September 2026. Departures are not possible from 8 to 18 August.
How do I return to the starting point from Trieste?
A shuttle transfer from Trieste to Alta Pusteria is available on Wednesdays and Saturdays at extra cost (minimum 2 people). Alternatively, a public bus runs daily from Trieste to San Candido with a connecting train.
What navigation support is provided?
Detailed travel documents including maps, GPX tracks, a navigation app, and a video briefing are provided. A telephone assistance service is available throughout the tour.

The tour passes through Italy, Austria, and Slovenia, offering a remarkable variety of landscapes, cultures, and cuisines within a single week.
