🙋 Common questions
How much does the Bled MTB tour cost?
The 7-day Bled MTB tour costs from €745 per person in a double room in Season A, €795 in Season B and €845 in Season C. A single room within a party adds €355, and a solo traveller pays the same €355 supplement, single room included. An upgrade to a 4-star hotel costs €125 per tour.
When is the best time to ride the Bled MTB tour?
You can start any day between 28 March and 10 October 2027. Spring and early autumn (Season A: until 1 May and 3–10 October) are the quietest and cheapest, with fresh forest air on the plateaus. Summer brings long days and green alpine pastures, while mid-August to mid-September is peak season around Lake Bled.
How difficult is the Bled MTB tour?
The tour is rated 3 out of 4 (sporty). Daily rides are 41–58 km with 710–1,330 m of climbing, mostly above 1,000 m per day. Around half of the route is unpaved, on forest and gravel roads with some singletrack, so solid fitness and experience of longer day rides at home are recommended.
Can I rent a mountain bike for the Bled MTB tour?
Yes. A standard MTB costs €165 per tour and an electric MTB €250 (extra day €30 or €50), with delivery, collection, helmet, repair kit and pump included. Every rental has a Standard Damage Waiver limiting your liability to a €150 excess; the optional €50 Waiver Upgrade reduces it to €0 and caps theft liability at €300.
How do I get to Bled for the MTB tour?
The nearest airports are Ljubljana, Klagenfurt, Trieste and Venice, and the Lesce–Bled railway station is close by. Private transfers cost €90 from Ljubljana Airport, €210 from Klagenfurt, €385 from Trieste and €435 from Venice for 1–3 people, plus €10 per bike. The station transfer costs €20.
Do I need to change hotels on the Bled MTB tour?
No. This is a star tour, so you will sleep six nights in the same 3-star hotel in the centre of Bled and ride a different loop every day. Because you never move base, there is no luggage transfer, and you can unpack once and spend your evenings by the lake.
Can I add extra nights at Lake Bled?
Yes, extra nights in Bled can be booked with breakfast. In a double room they cost €105 per person in Season A, €115 in Season B and €130 in Season C; single use costs €200, €215 and €225. An optional 28 km warm-up loop on arrival day is a good way to use a first afternoon.
