Short Description

A delightful 4-day family cycling loop through Piedmont's royal heritage. Ride safe cycle paths from Torino to Venaria's grand palace, across the vast Mandria park, past the medieval lakeside town of Avigliana, and back via the baroque Stupinigi hunting lodge and the scenic Po riverbank.

Tour Program

Day 1 – Arrival in Torino – City ride to Venaria (12 km)
Individual arrival in Torino. Collect your bikes and set off to discover the city's Roman, medieval and baroque heart. Ride through the leafy Parco della Pellerina and follow a peaceful cycle path all the way to the magnificent Reggia di Venaria, one of the largest royal residences in Europe. Overnight near Venaria.

Day 2 – Venaria to Avigliana (30 km)
Pedal along the gardens of the Reggia and enter the Parco La Mandria, a 6,500-hectare former royal hunting reserve of King Vittorio Emanuele II. Join the Val di Susa cycle path with views of the iconic Sacra di San Michele perched on its hilltop, then descend gently to Avigliana, a charming medieval village mirrored in two glacial lakes. Overnight in Avigliana.

Day 3 – Avigliana to Piossasco (18 km)
A relaxed morning ride past the Lago Piccolo to the village of Trana. From here, follow a lovely off-road cycle path winding through woods and along the Sangone river to Piossasco. A short and easy day, perfect for a family afternoon by the pool. Overnight in Piossasco.

Day 4 – Piossasco to Torino (28 km)
Continue along the Sangone cycle path into the Parco di Rivalta, riding through lush greenery all the way to the Palazzina di Caccia di Stupinigi, Juvarra's baroque masterpiece. The final stretch follows the Po river through the Parco del Valentino, past the fairy-tale Borgo Medievale. Tour ends in the afternoon in Torino.
