Short Description

Loop through the Lot-et-Garonne from Agen past medieval bastides, the fortress of Bonaguil and the vineyards of Cahors. Six days of gentle cycling through orchards, river valleys and hilltop villages.

Tour Program

Day 1 — Welcome to Agen
Arrive at your hotel in Agen and collect your roadbook and bikes. Explore the capital of the prune — a 2,000-year-old city with Goya paintings at the Museum of Fine Arts, a vibrant market and the famous canal bridge.

Day 2 — Agen to Villeneuve-sur-Lot | 45 km · ↑ 475 m
Pedal through the Lot-et-Garonne countryside to the medieval bastide of Villeneuve-sur-Lot. Visit the Foie Gras Museum, admire the hilltop village of Penne d'Agenais.

Day 3 — Villeneuve-sur-Lot to Fumel | 35–50 km · ↑ 50 m
Follow small roads through plum orchards along the Lot Valley. Discover Pujols (one of France's Most Beautiful Villages) and detour to the fortress of Bonaguil. Dinner included.

Day 4 — Fumel to Tournon d'Agenais | 42–52 km · ↑ 250 m
Cross into the Lot department through Cahors Malbec vineyards. Cycle to the medieval village of Puy-l'Évêque, then back to Tournon d'Agenais. Dinner included.

Day 5 — Tournon d'Agenais to Agen | 55 km · ↑ 150 m
The final stage winds through valleys past Montaigu de Quercy, Beauville and Puymirol. Descend through the Séoune Valley back to Agen.

Day 6 — Departure from Agen
Breakfast and end of services.
