Q: Which days can the tour start?
A: The tour can begin on any day of the week.
Q: Can extra days be added?
A: Extra days can be added at the beginning, at the end, and at intermediate points along the tour. Prices are available on request.
Q: What is included?
A: 7 nights' accommodation with en-suite bathroom (mixture of country inns and 3, 4, and 5-star hotels), all luggage transfers, airport transfers on arrival and departure days (Costa Teguise and Arrecife), breakfast, and an information pack (route guide, maps, elevation profiles, GPS files).
Q: What is not included?
A: Evening meals and a GPS device are not included.
Q: What are the arrival and departure arrangements?
A: The arrival and departure point is Lanzarote Airport (Arrecife). A free transfer is organised from the airport to the first hotel in Costa Teguise at the start of the tour, and from the hotel in Arrecife back to the airport at the end.
Q: What bikes and equipment are available?
A: Bike hire options include trekking, carbon road, electric road, e-road, e-bike, gravel, and city bikes (prices listed in the tour document). Helmet and pedals are provided at no charge. Trekking bikes and e-bikes include luggage rack and pannier; road bikes include essential equipment as specified.
Q: Can I bring my own bike?
A: You can bring your own bike for a luggage transfer supplement of 65 € per person, or 95 € for solo travellers. Bike cases cannot be transferred.
Q: What is the terrain like?
A: Lanzarote is lower-lying but not flat. The first day's ride to Haría is more demanding; after that, riding is generally easy to intermediate.
