Kvarner Bay Boat & Bike Tour + MTB Option

Day 1: Omišalj (Embarkation) – Rabac
You will make your own way to Omišalj on the island of Krk and board the boat between 1 p.m. and 1.30 p.m. At 2 p.m. the first cruise begins, across to Rabac on the Istrian Peninsula. Crystal-clear water surrounds this coastal town, and the cafés along the seaside promenade are an inviting sight. You will explore the town on foot, find your way around the boat and get to know your fellow travellers. The boat moors in Rabac for the night.

Day 2: Rabac – Cres (39 km)
Today's ride starts with a steady climb from sea level up to the town of Labin. At the top you will take in your first views over Kvarner Bay and its islands. After cycling through the landscapes of Istria and its small rural villages, you will return to Labin for lunch. With a first locally cooked meal behind you, you will descend to the boat in Rabac and cruise to the island of Cres, to its main town of the same name — a quiet harbour town marked by Italian architecture, and a lovely place to moor for the night.

Day 3: Cres – Martinšćica | Mali Lošinj (28 km)
After breakfast the route takes you from the town of Cres to Martinšćica, where the boat will be waiting. Lunch is served on board as the boat cruises to the island of Lošinj. If the weather is kind, the captain can arrange a swim stop along the way, before mooring for the night in the harbour town of Mali Lošinj, where colourful façades and a scattering of cafés make for a relaxed evening.

Day 4: Lošinj – Ilovik (20 km)
You will cycle along the seaside promenade to the south of Lošinj and visit the small harbour town of Veli Lošinj, then return to the boat for lunch. In the afternoon you will cross to the island of Ilovik, where there is time for a swim at anchor or from the local beach. The night is a peaceful one on this quiet island.

Day 5: Rab (25 km)
Today's route is a round trip through the varied landscapes of the island of Rab. Starting from the old town of Rab, you will pass from coastal promenades to shaded forest and secluded bays. Back at the boat there is free time in this historic town before a guided city tour. You will stay moored here for the night.

Day 6: Krk (21 km)
The morning begins with a cruise to Krk, the island's capital, with its lovely old town. A round trip from town takes you inland through the diverse landscapes of the island, past wide vineyards and small villages. Back in Krk you will spend the evening exploring the alleyways with your tour leader before settling into one of the bars near the sea, and then to your cabin in the harbour.

Day 7: Krk – Vrbnik – Omišalj (45 km)
On the last full day you will see more of Krk, riding over the ridge of the island, covered in fragrant macchia, down to a valley of vineyards and on to the small museum town of Vrbnik in the north-east. Vrbnik sits on a cliff fifty metres above the sea, surrounded by the vines that produce the white wine Žlahtina, and is home to what is said to be the second-narrowest alley in the world. The route continues across the island, through old villages and rich vegetation, to Omišalj, with a chance to swim in the Bay of Soline along the way. The day closes with a cheerful farewell meal on board, shared with fellow travellers, tour leaders and crew.

Day 8: Omišalj (Disembarkation)
After breakfast and goodbyes, disembarkation is before 9 a.m., for your onward journey home or an extended stay in Croatia.
