Gökova Bays by Bike & Gulet

Day 1: Bodrum (Embarkation) (0 km)
You will make your own way to Bodrum harbour, where check-in on board begins at 4 pm. A collective transfer from Bodrum airport to the harbour is available at extra cost on request. In the evening you will share a first dinner on board with your fellow travellers and your tour guides.

Day 2: Bodrum – Yalıçiftlik (round tour) (38 km)
After breakfast the anchor comes up for a short cruise to Yalıçiftlik. From there you will set off on your first ride through local pine forests to Çamlık, where a short coffee break awaits. You will continue through silver-green olive groves to the small village of Etrim, where descendants of Turkmen tribes still live semi-nomadic lives and show their handicrafts, and you will stop for lunch in a local restaurant. Afterwards you will return to Yalıçiftlik for an afternoon swim at the nearby beach, followed by dinner on board.

Day 3: Yalıçiftlik – Mazı – Akbük (41 km)
Your ride will lead you inland through scenic natural landscape before bringing you back to the coast at Mazı, where the ship will be waiting with lunch on board. You will then relax through a two-and-a-half-hour crossing to Akbük, a charming little harbour where the afternoon is yours for swimming. Dinner on board and overnight in Akbük.

Day 4: Akbük – Akyaka (31 km)
In the morning a shuttle will take you from Akbük to the mountain village of Sarnıçköy. From there you will cycle to neighbouring Akyaka, stopping to admire the ancient rock tombs. The village is characterised by its pseudo-Seljuk-Ottoman architecture with striking wooden elements, unique to Turkey and designed by award-winning architect Nail Çakırhan, so a short stroll through it is well worthwhile. Dinner on board and overnight in Akyaka.

Day 5: Akyaka – Çamlı (34 km)
A round trip by bike will take you inland from Akyaka, away from the coast, through an abundance of nature and the solitude of this landscape, before you return to Akyaka for lunch. Afterwards the ship will head for the picturesque bay of Çamlı, where you can take a refreshing swim. Dinner on board and overnight in Çamlı.

Day 6: Çamlı – English Bay – Yedi Adalar (20 km)
Today's ride will take you from Çamlı through small villages and fragrant pine forests to picturesque English Bay, where there will be plenty of time to swim to your heart's content. After the ride you will have around one and a half hours to relax on board in the sun and the salty sea air while the ship cruises to Yedi Adalar, the Seven Islands. Dinner on board and overnight at anchor.

Day 7: Yedi Adalar – Körmen – Knidos (42 km)
The morning crossing will bring you to Körmen on the Datça Peninsula, which you will explore by bike. A first ascent leads you to a height of 450 m, before you enjoy the descent back to the sea with a beautiful view over the Greek islands of Nisyros, Tilos and Rhodes. A scenic coastal road then carries you on towards the outskirts of Knidos. After a visit to the impressive archaeological site you will spend the night in one of the most picturesque bays on the Turkish coast.

Day 8: Knidos – Bodrum (Disembarkation) (0 km)
After breakfast on board you will enjoy the sea air one last time on the crossing back to Bodrum. Once in harbour it will be time to say goodbye to your ship, the crew and your tour guides. Check-out follows, with an optional transfer to the airport for your journey home or the start of a longer holiday in Turkey.
