An 8-day guided cycling and sailing tour through the northern Netherlands aboard the deluxe-class Magnifique II, exploring five UNESCO World Heritage sites. By day you will pedal quiet polders, dikes, dunes and coastlines while your floating hotel sails ahead to meet you each evening; from the still-operating Woudagemaal steam pumping station to the Wadden Sea and Amsterdam's canal ring, this is the Netherlands seen through the lens of water, ingenuity and tradition. Is this tour guided?
Yes. The tour is fully guided by two professional, multilingual tour leaders who split the group into two. You may also choose to cycle independently using the BBT cycling map and GPS app available on board.
What kind of ship will I stay on?
You will sail aboard the Magnifique II, a deluxe-class ship built in 2015-2016 for a maximum of 37 guests across 17 cabins. Cabins have a private bathroom, air conditioning, satellite TV and a wardrobe with mini-safe.
How difficult is the cycling?
This is an easy tour on flat terrain. Daily distances range from about 23 to 50 km, and most days offer a choice between a longer and a shorter route. You can also stay on board on any given day.
Is bike rental included?
No. A premium hybrid bicycle costs €140 per week and an e-bike €273 per week, both booked in advance. You may also bring your own bike or e-bike for a small parking fee.
What meals are included?
Seven breakfasts, daily packed lunches and six three-course dinners are included. One dinner, in Sneek, is not included so you can dine ashore. Coffee and tea on board and a welcome drink are also provided.

• Up to 84 days before the start of the trip: 20% of the travel price
• From 84 to 42 days before the start of the trip: 30% of the travel price
• From 42 to 28 days before the start of the trip: 60% of the travel price
• From 28 to 8 day before the start of the trip: 90% of the travel price
• 7 to 0 days before the departure date: 100% penalty of the total package
