Short Description

Cycle the wild Mani Peninsula on this 8-day guided e-bike tour of the southern Peloponnese. Stone tower villages, the Caves of Diros and the medieval lanes of Monemvasia lead you to Elafonisos, where white sand meets turquoise water.

Tour Program

Day 1: Arrival in Athens
You will check in at your hotel and take free time to explore Greece's vibrant capital at your leisure. In the afternoon you will meet your tour leader for welcome drinks, a bike fitting, and a short ride around the city centre of Athens.

Day 2: Areopoli round trip (20 km)
A private transfer will bring you from Athens to Areopoli, in the heart of the Mani region. You will cycle through the beautiful Maniot landscape, visit the famous Diros Caves — in Greek mythology, the entrance to the Underworld — and the picturesque village of Charouda with its traditional stone architecture. You will swim at a beautiful beach before enjoying Areopoli by night.

Day 3: Areopoli – Vatheia – Areopoli (67 km)
You will ride from Areopoli to the historic village of Vatheia, famous for its stone towers and breathtaking views. You will swim at the beach of Gerolimenas, cycle through medieval tower landscapes, and enjoy a picnic of traditional products along the way before your last night in Areopoli.

Day 4: Areopoli – Gytheio (53 km)
You will cycle to Gytheio, the ancient port of Sparta, with its colourful fishing boats and waterfront cafes. After free time for lunch and a swim at the famous Skoutari Beach, a private transfer will take you to Monemvasia, the medieval fortress town rising from the sea, where you will spend the evening.

Day 5: Monemvasia – Gerakas Fjord – Monemvasia (50 km)
You will ride through picturesque villages to the seaside hamlet of Gerakas, overlooking the southernmost fjord in Europe. A local winery will welcome you for a tasting of the region's finest wines. After a swim, you will return to Monemvasia and hike to the top of its fortress.

Day 6: Monemvasia – Elafonisos – Neapolis (48 km)
An epic ride of rolling hills and Aegean views will bring you to Pounta Port, where you will catch the ferry to Elafonisos island and its legendary Simos Beach, with white sand and turquoise water. Back on the mainland, you will cycle to the coastal town of Neapolis for the night.

Day 7: Neapolis – Mystras – Athens
A private transfer will take you to Mystras, the UNESCO World Heritage Byzantine city on the slopes of Mount Taygetus. After a lunch at a traditional local tavern — a special treat from the operator — you will continue to Athens for the last night of your trip.

Day 8: Departure
You will spend your last day in Athens at leisure before your journey home.
