Discovering Beaujolais by Bike

Day 1: Arrival in Crêches-sur-Saône – Loop from Crêches
You will arrive in Crêches-sur-Saône at the time of your choice. Your bikes will be waiting at the hotel, and if you need help reading the roadbook, our local representative will run an orientation meeting over the phone. From there, you will set out on a loop ride through a scenic landscape checkered with vineyards: Saint-Vérand, Pouilly-Fuissé, and the unmistakable Solutré rock formation, famous as a prehistoric site of the Solutrean Paleolithic culture. You will spend the night at Château de la Barge.

Day 2: Crêches-sur-Saône – Villié-Morgon
After breakfast, you will leave the Saône valley and pedal south into Beaujolais, reaching the wine village of Villié-Morgon. You will check in at Hotel Noemys and enjoy dinner in town.

Day 3: Loop around Villié-Morgon
You will head south out of Villié-Morgon onto the Voie Verte du Beaujolais, an easy 15 km greenway winding through the idyllic countryside. The day's loop returns you to Hotel Noemys for a second night.

Day 4: Villié-Morgon – Blacé
Today's stage includes a climb up Mont-Brouilly (484 m / 1,450 ft.), offering one of the best viewpoints of the entire region. You will continue south through the cru villages of Beaujolais and check in at Le Savigny in Blacé for dinner.

Day 5: Loop around Blacé
You will spend the day exploring the southern Beaujolais on a loop ride from Blacé, returning in the evening to Le Savigny for a final dinner.

Day 6: Departure
After breakfast, take your time and prepare for the next part of your adventure. A private transfer from Blacé will bring you to Lyon, where your tour ends.
