What is the difficulty level of this tour?
This tour is rated as easy. The total distance is approximately 310 km over 8 days, with most stages on flat terrain along the Elbe river valley. The first days include some mountain descents, but a cableway assists with the initial climb. An e-bike rental option is available for those who prefer assistance.
What type of bicycle is recommended?
The tour is designed for trekking bikes, which handle the mix of paved cycling paths and occasional unpaved sections. Road and cross bikes are available as a rental upgrade, and e-bikes can be rented as well. You may also bring your own bicycle.
How does the luggage transfer work?
Luggage is transported between hotels daily between 9:00 and 17:00.
What type of accommodation is provided?
You will stay in comfortable 3-star hotels and guesthouses, selected for their personality and central location in towns along the route. A premium accommodation upgrade is available for a surcharge.
How do I get to the starting point?
A transfer from Prague to Špindlerův Mlýn is included in the tour price and departs every Sunday at 9 am from May to September. For other departure days, a transfer surcharge applies. A transfer from Dresden is also available.
