Before setting off on a journey, it is important to check that everything needed is in the backpack and on the bike to ensure comfort and safety. But what are the accessories for cycling? What can't you absolutely do without? Today we want to reveal some useful tips for your next wish list!
#### Bike accessories: our advice for choosing
There are more and more people who have developed a genuine love for the world of bike touring, appreciating the slowness of travel and the more authentic contact with the surrounding realities. Starting on your own bike can give an unusual feeling of freedom, but you need to know what accessories can be crucial for the comfort and safety of your journey. One of the factors that combines the different ways of cycling is the natural curiosity, typical of almost all cyclists, to want to keep track of the kilometers done. Technology provides many tools for doing this, first and foremost smartphones, but many people when they cycle like to disconnect from all these tools. So what to do? Simple, a small and simple low-tech tool, that can be mounted on bikes for decades now, the bike odometer, can help. Those who have a passion for hi-tech accessories can opt for a more refined instrument with numerous functions, such as a cyclocomputer. This tool can calculate the distance traveled and the instantaneous and average speed, detect the heart rate, the frequency and the power of the pedaling; also being equipped with map navigation you can follow gps tracks in the same way you follow road directions provided by car navigators.
Among the accessories for cycling, the bell cannot be missed: the latest models produced have many features, to ensure maximum safety. Some handlebar gadgets have been made that serve as both a front light and an acoustic indicator, producing both a 'friendly' signal of 76dB and a real horn of 96dB, audible even to the most insulated motorists. Lastly, the helmet should not be forgotten: some models have added two arrows, controlled by a remote control on the handlebars, and a brake signal that activates automatically thanks to an integrated accelerometer.
The accessories for cycling can prove very useful for experiencing your travel experience serenely and comfortably: and you - have you already chosen your next destination?
